Perplexed by Photography

Andy was playing golf today so Merlin and I enjoyed an early morning walk and then another wander at lunchtime.

On our first walk Merlin was most insistent he didn’t want to go to the field, but instead he took me through the village for a paddle in the stream. By lunchtime he was keen to go for a run in the field but we didn’t have time so he was frog marched on a loop up the lane and back.

He got his run on his early evening walk and is now curled up on his blanket lounging around until he he is told to go to bed. He is very good and gets up promptly to go to the kitchen at bedtime. He will no doubt wake us as usual at 6am - as far as he is concerned it’s bright daylight out so time to get up and throw himself into the day with gusto. I prefer to enter the day a little more sedately.
