Shards that last
St Laurence Parish Church, Ludlow is a treasure trove. It is a Grade 1 listed building and was rebuilt in 1199. The heart of Prince Arthur (Henry VIII’s elder brother) is allegedly buried there. One of the stewards proudly showed us some amazing carpentry in the choir stalls. Anyway my blip for TT is one of the absolutely splendid stained glass windows. It is a kaleidoscope of 14th century and 15th century shards of glass and was designed in 1904 by a Miss MJ Nevill of Birmingham.
