Beach Shapes

A bit of a sand bar seems to have built up in recent days, stretching along most of the beach from the Figgate to Joppa. I think I read somewhere that they move onshore in periods of calmer weather. Every time I walk past I feel the urge to find a spade and dig out elaborate drainage channels down to the sea.
