In case you haven't seen one of these before, or haven't understood what it is at first sight, it's a squirty nozzle that automatically mixes equal amounts of epoxy components A + B
And if I'm the last person in the world to have seen one of these, then I apologise for my excitement.

In the house where I grew up, anything that got broken and that could be salvaged with Araldite was saved up until there were enough items to be fixed and then Dad used to mix up an appropriate amount of epoxy resin on the top of a matchbox, stirring it thoroughly with a matchstick. If memory serves me correctly this would always be round about tea-time at a weekend, which was a bit before shoe-polishing time.
