Spring robin

I took quite a few photos today down at the shore however the shelducks I was after were just too far away for the lens. As we were leaving this robin appeared but ( of course) just as I got my focus right….he flew off! 
N and I have just started listening to ‘Wilding’ on audible. The story of a couples journey from being dairy and grain farmers to having an amazingly biodiverse and forward thinking( in terms of farm practice ) estate it’s fascinating!
