‘So it’s All Over….?’

I’m not so sure. Huge numbers of people have Covid at the moment and, while the vaccines have made a huge difference, the bigger numbers with the virus mean that there are currently nearly 2000 people in Scottish hospitals. That’s the highest since the beginning of last year, before vaccines were widely available!

The sign is still relevant, though the mitigations today may be a bit different - vaccination, masks(especially in public spaces , shops, buses etc), ventilation indoors, for example. Covid is still straining the NHS, still making people sick, still causing long covid and still disrupting daily life. We’re not quite there yet!
