Morning walk.

I made it to the local Chase Farm for coffee this morning. It was far enough.
Stephen came to pick me up later.
Then it was back to using the ice packs.
The back bedroom is almost ready for the decorator.
The double bed was taken by Birmingham City Mission as we’re having a single bed with integral guest bed. Makes for more space.
Raymond who did the kitchen makeover is busy fitting some new doors to replace the years old louvre one on the walk in cupboard and has replaced the sliding ones on the built in wardrobe which were mirrored.
The decorator is coming on Thursday.
The new bed isn’t coming till the first week in April.
In the meantime whilst having to sit with the ice pack I’ve been reading my book. It’s a pacey easy read by Jeffrey Archer.
One of Stephen’s Christmas gifts was each month he would receive two used books by post. So they are always a surprise. I’m reading this one of them.
There is one by Hilary Mantel in this month’s pick. “The King Maker”.
They are quite randomly selected.
