A fine tilth

Well from a distance perhaps.
I gave the gov a hand with preparing the veggie beds by going over them with the power tiller. The ground was almost too wet in places but it broke up well and she could rake it level with care. A couple of weeks until the spuds go in and at least a month later before planting beans, but she is getting everything ready.
