Friday Fury (or rant of the week!)

Today I was invited for a free session at the brand spanking new sports centre & spa in St Albans.

The car parking area is still being worked on. I parked, there were notices everywhere saying 'Have you paid and displayed?' but I couldn't see a ticket machine anywhere, not only that I had no coins in my purse.

I went to reception where I asked:
"Do I have to pay to park?"
With a 'Computer says no' voice the receptionist said:
"We don't run the car park"
"I couldn't see a ticket machine"
"Where are you parked? In the bumpy bit right round the back?"
"No I drove into the main car park, right outside"
"I don't use the car park, but there used to be a ticket machine right at the far end."

"OK.... next question, are you able to give me change for the ticket machine?"

"You get 3 hours parking free."

Grrrr! It took me 20 minutes of the massage session to calm down!
