Well I’ll be “dam” ned

Woke up to a beautiful sunny blue sky morning, just perfect for our arranged walk around Carr Mill Dam :-)

Light Fruity breakfast, a quick stop off at the post office to send my friends birthday card, after id sent my sis birthday wishes on messenger, my lickle sis is 59 today ;-0

Met up with A, one of the girls from my team when I worked for the NHS, we have all kept in touch, hard to believe its almost 10 years since we parted company. A is Polish and was talking about what the polish people are doing in support of the Ukrainians, without any government support.

Todays blip is the view that welcomed us as we set off on our walk. The sun actually had some warmth today :-) We stopped half way around for a late breakfast, which was nice and coffee which was a bit yuck tbh lol at “The Boathouse” before going our separate ways. I stopped off at Costa for a proper coffee and sat doing my Wordle & Quordle puzzles.

A busy afternoon work wise, didnt finish until 5.30pm. A quick tea, small portion of steak & potato ash that sis gave me yesterday, poured it over a jacket potato and had it with griddled courgettes.

Next I downloaded the images Id taken at camera club last week as we are projecting them to share tonight, then the 10 mile drive to Club.

Back home by 10.15pm…… I am now propped up in bed uploading this blip, as I was awake rather early this morning :-)
