Thank you for all your birthday wishes. It has been a great birthday. Quite a change to venture out of UK. Just a 10 min drive to the ferry, a very relaxed and peaceful 4 hr crossing and then 2.5hrs drive to the Champagne region of France. We are staying in a lovely bnb in the vines thanks to a 'smart box' gift from a friend from before covid times. So nice to finally use it! A lovely dinner in a beautiful local French restaurant. Birthday done.... see you tomorrow Switzerland.
