Oh the joys

Up early to go off to Fort William for a big food shop, the journey to the ferry so much lighter than last month. A mostly successful day of food shopping, going to Harbro for bird food and having lunch. We got to Lochaline and the queue was back up to the road and a few big lorries were waiting to get on. Cal Mac have deployed a much smaller boat that usual to cover the route which means you can’t guarantee you’ll always get on straight away. We waited for an hour but eventually got on. Annoyingly this meant S missed her swimming lesson but I’m not sure she was 100% up to it. Got home to a couple of hundred £ worth of seeds we had ordered sat outside our front door with the cardboard boxes soaking wet, very annoying considering we have a huge post box a mile back at the gates…maybe a new driver. The seeds were all fine but wouldn’t have been if they’d been there much longer.
