Walked the viaduct

Built in 1877 and closed to rail traffic in 1968, it has recently been opened to the public having had a walkway installed.
We met with friends for a lovely walk and then lunch in their local pub.
Call from the hospital cancelling my appointment at the eye clinic on Wednesday, my consultant is sick. Really disappointing as it is already nine months over due.
