Golden decisions

Took the mid-day minibus in to Altinkum (the sea side district adjacent to 'downtown' Didim) for a consultation at another dental hospital that lasted well over an hour.  I not only really liked the surgeon and the whole place generally, but more importantly, he made me feel comfortable and safe - so a big, well HUGE decision was made as, having had a coffee in a cafe,  I strolled the sea front for a couple of hours afterwards in the warm afternoon sunshine (although the wind was a bit chilly). And that was my day really. Home by 18.00 with an evening to process my decision. Feeling exhausted now.

oh - point of interest - "Altinkum" translates as 'Golden sand' which is a very apt name for this idyllic beach, which, in a few short months will be totally obliterated by the thousands, literally, of colorful parasols and sunbathing holiday makers to the point where you can hardly see any sand at all - and consequently never visited by me!.  We must all, therefore, enjoy this view while we can !
