New in Beaverton

The new Patricia Reser Center for the Performing Arts had a grand opening, and the Beaverton Symphony Orchestra was the final act of a weekend of festivities. The Center is very pretty with a lot of warm fir and pleasing curves, and overlooks a bit of Beaver Creek that is crowded with ducks, see Extra. The orchestra was at its best, and it was an enjoyable evening.
