'Jewel Garden'

A sunny start to the week and perfect weather for a little wander round RHS Hyde Hall again.  And there's a wonderful art exhibition on at the moment from one artist, Pauline Medinger, Hyde Hall website liink, who has created well over 100 pieces over the past couple of years using a variety of styles, called Visions of Eden.  It was stunning to see and this piece was her ode to Monty Don, where she'd created a jewel garden using a book, jewels and stitching.  Just wish I could have captured a better picture!

And on our way home we stopped at a nearby garden centre, Meadowcroft, where they're holding the annual pansy & viola festival where a rainbow of pansies and violas are on display.... I resisted the buying urge again!!
