Sports Day

Well, earlier (after the daughter had called in with her little girl), there was rugby: Scotland v Italy. We looked at an aerial shot of the stadium in puzzlement. Are those new flats in Gorgie? Is that Coltbridge? Doh! It was an away game. Having got well ahead we let them score a couple. Ahem.
Then off to Ryrie’s and over to Pho Viet to meet AJ and Rog. Scottish Cup quarter final vs St Mirren. And what a belter of a game. Totally unexpected - and St Mirren’s two goals to pull it back to 2-2 were both top drawer finishes. Oh yes. But class will out, and we knocked in two more to see them off. Then it was time for the Diggers. And I even got a lift home.
