Dahlias

These dahlias have been gracing our garden . The actual plant had gone wild this year due to lots of rain early on and good growing conditions.. It was huge. I dead-headed it and then cut it back to a more manageable size. The flowers make for a nice show indoors. I did a lot of gardening today…. Right up to sunset and twilight. I suddenly remembered I had not taken any photos today. Yikes! An amazing lapse. Then the vase of dahlias came to my rescue.
