Footlights
I decided it was worth taking my bike tyres off and sorting the punctures as one of them kept leaking a little. Turns out there were 7 in there, took ages to find them all and fix them ( the downside to no inner tubes ). All done now though, tyre back on and new sealant in.
We were out this everting to see the Cambridge Footlights with Gemma and Jason, a couple of pints first in the Eagle then onto the Arts Theatre for the show.
Which wasn’t brilliant. I suspect my expectations were high. Monty Python, The Goodies Fry and Laurie, and loads others all started out at Footlights.
There was some serious talent, unfortunately there wasn’t a lot of comedic talent. A few decent sketches but only a couple of laugh out loud moment and a lot of very obvious jokes. Some people in the audience however did find it incredibly hilarious cackling like harpies, annoyingly one of these people was sat behind us. I could have punched her at one point.
I was expecting brilliant, edgy, political humour, sadly lacking apart from in a couple of cases. I’ll give them a D minus and suggest they work hard at college and get a proper job.
