Overnight power cut, so no charge to the storage radiators. Sleet, snow and frost this morning meant the house was a tad chilly, and very much more so by the end of the day. Had to concede to the first lighting of the fire this Winter, with the added benefit of clearing a mass of sundry paper unfit for general recycling. Think those thin strands must be fibreglass or something else that doesn't readily burn, from some box sealing/packing tapes.
