Waiting, waiting

Another cold, grey day with trees looking more and more as if it's winter rather than spring. I keep trying to persuade myself that next week the sun will be shining and summer will be well on the way... Ha ha!!

Meanwhile another second library book has arrived in record time via an internet order. I seem to be drawn more to 18th century British history and having just read "Wilkes and Liberty" by George Rude I ordered the classic "Structure of Politics At The Accession of George III" by Lewis Namier. I should have read this forty years ago at university but better late than never!
