Holm of Grimbister and Damsay (Day 2500)

The usual routine for a Sunday - a walk with Sigyn, then off to town for the weekly shop. Home to unload and get some breakfast. Then it was off to Stromness to look at the horses. George doesn't seem lame when he is walking now which is great news, but he will have another bit off time off before he is ridden again.
While the horses munched through buckets of feed, I adjusted the hinges of the gate so it no longer swings open and is a great deal easier to close.
Back home for lunch, then a wander along the road with Sigyn and my beautiful wife. The weather has been fairly rubbish again - strong cold wind, but there was a blink of sun over the Holm and Damsay.
Today marks 2500 days since HV and I got married. She is off to work for a well earned rest.
