We went for a walk around More Hall Reservoir this morning from Glen Howe Park. The reservoir was full after being very low in recent months. We assume that Yorkshire Water was keeping the level low so that when heavy rain arrived they cold capture it and alleviate the risk of flooding further down the rivers. The large expanse of water meant that there was little of interest except at the water's edge where the reeds and shrubs offered interesting reflections.
