Greylag Goose

We went to the west coast this afternoon to Aciltibuie and the coast by the Summer Isles. Going along to a village called Reiff we spotted a pair of Graylag Geese near the shore.
I was quite surprised that that let me get to within 8 metres of them to get this photo. This male kept his eye on me and stood and basically posed for me. I was very grateful.
It was a beautiful afternoon and the temperature actually reached 10 degrees centigrade!
With the beautiful blue sky and sea it looked just like yesterday on the east coast.
