My current favourite

This beautiful bird is currently my favourite garden visitor and I am delighted that it perched long enough this morning for me to run and grab my camera. It has been coming to our garden for over a week now, usually first thing in the morning. 
It has a condition called Leucism which is caused by a genetic mutation and this leads to a lack of pigment in the feathers causing it to be black and white instead of completely black. 
I think it is very handsome, I just hope the other blackbirds do too and it is able to find a mate!
