A different view (more rust)
I realised last night that a shot from inside one the sculptures I posted yesterday would be worth trying.
Our son was invited to exhibit, and sell, some of his woodwork at a gallery in Dural that has two expanded exhibitions each year (COVID permitting). So, I got a chance today on day two of the exhibition.
The sculptures are made by Stuart Weir. In addition to collecting stuff from council clean-ups, he makes them on commission using tools bequeathed by loved ones (or simply left in the shed).
Stuart will be there again next weekend if you're interested (but alas Mack and I will not be).
Most of the sculptures have a fairly sizeable hole in the base for stability so it was a fairly simple yet precarious task to roll them over, then back again, with the camera on self timer. A tad scary with a fisheye lens though!
