Burns' Burn

Having learned today at my annual health scan that I need to take more exercise, I went for a brisk walk in nearby Cardrona Forest after getting home from work. Brisk that was until I spotted this wee burn and spent - well, a while - doing the usual tripod and filter stuff.

"She is a winsome wee thing,
She is a handsome wee thing,
She is a bonny wee thing"

Burns was referring to his wife, but he was a lover of nature and I don't think he'd mind me using his words to describe a wee burn.
