Into town this morning for an eye test and a food shop and then on to see the chaps. I was only there last weekend but there must have been some heavy rain. Rather symbolically, in the space of a week the land I usually recognise had completely changed.

It turned into a beautiful afternoon so I carried on mooching and meandering up the Fell.
