Affirmation. I rediscovered the timeless Savage Garden song by this name and realised the lyrics mark it out as being way ahead of its time. Darren Hayes was woke in 1999.

This afternoon was a long walk of several kilometres through the part of the city that stretches up the coast to Costa do Sol. I was knackered when I got there and sat in the shade reading, but had to walk back the same route at sunset due to a shortage of buses. Overall, long and hot, but satisfying.
