More work on my own layout.  Having finally decided to add block detection to the layout I realised that a lot of the metal fishplates at the points would need to be replaced with plastic insulating fishplates.  This is going to be a fun job over the next few days as all the tracks are now painted and soldered to brass screws at the board joins.  Very much a lesson to be learned for the next time.  If you look close you can see the replacement plastic fishplates on some of the joints.
