Serenity
The tranquillity of this scene belies the turmoil going on in Europe where the debate is whether we are already into World War 3.
This is Airthey loch, the focus point for Stirling university campus. Not only is this university regarded as the most beautiful in Europe because of it’s setting under The Ochil’s but it is also Scotland’s National Swimming and National Tennis centres.
I don’t know what gets you out of bed on a Saturday morning but today I leapt out, not my usual mode of operation. Why? Teddy was chasing a mouse around the bedroom. Much to his disgust I grabbed him and threw him out.
Thanks to a suggestion from Blipper Flossmo I saved the mouse, actually it was a shrew’s, life by adopting the wellington mousetrap tactic. I placed two wellingtons at strategic points against the bedroom wall and the shrew ran into one. Simple.
