School pudding!
Can you spot the frogspawn?
The first I have seen this year. Last year this boggy pond dried up before the tadpoles hatched out, so hope this year they will have better luck.
Always reminds me of the tapioca pudding we had at school. We always called it ‘frogspawn’.
I hated it.
Did our lockdown walk this morning, and picked up the Yorkshire Post on the way round, as well as hot cross buns.
Bumped into T. We haven’t seen him since before Covid. He actually said he was just recovering from it himself. ( kept well clear!)
We did a house swap with him and the family 27 years ago.
We are still here, and they are still in our old house. Both their girls have now left home. One just living up the road from us.
So now they are finding the house too big. He jokingly said if we were thinking of moving to let them know. They could downsize back here!
After lunch spent the afternoon in the garden. I have now finished cutting down the last of the climbers on the old fence, ready for the new one going up soon.
The bin which was emptied on Thursday is now full again.
Felt quite Springlike. Birds singing away. More daffodils coming out, and other plants coming up.
6pm and it is still quite light.
A couple of weeks and Summer time begins.
