Cairngorm blizzard

Drove down to Aviemore from Kirkhill this morning and met up with C at Glenmore lodge for a walk up Bynack More. I posted a photo of mist on the same hill on 14th August last year and again we got no views from the top today. A blizzard started just as we arrived at the summit but wasn't too cold, it was above freezing and the snow was just wet and sticky. It got better a few hundred feet lower down the hill, as shown in the extra, which is a view of Stac na h-Iolaire (hill of the eagle) coming down off Bynack Beg. It cleared up a little latter and we even got a bit of warm Sun for the walk out along the track.  The second extra is the view up to Cairn Gorm from the road at Loch Morlich.
