Narcissus

Last autumn I bought and planted a bag of 'assorted' daffodil bulbs. Until now those that have appeared have all been the standard yellow kind but today I noticed this one whilst I was doing a bit of tidying up. It cheered me up. I was also bemused to see a pot that I had put aside sometime last year for reuse full of growing tulips. I had completely forgotten about them but they hadn't forgotten to grow.

Apart from the hour in the garden I have designated today a rest day after my artistic and literary adventures this week.
