Sweet Little Geum

After a hot muggy night it was a lovely sunny morning. By the afternoon the clouds rolled in again.

I had a hair appointment first thing this morning. The guy who cuts my hair is from the Ukraine he and his family have been living in New Zealand for around seven years. I asked how his family was back in the Ukraine and he said his father was safe in Germany but his wife's parents were still in the Ukraine and they were tying to get them over here to New Zealand.

These little Geums make a wonderful show of colour in the garden. We have a yellow one as well.
