Friendly robin

Walking along the riverside path, this little soul surprised me by landing on the fence very close to me. It was about 3 feet from my face. It had a good look at me, putting its head on one side, and then flew off to find something more interesting.  These encounters with wild creatures seem magical and very comforting in terrible times.
