New Lens Test

I took delivery this morning of a new 60mm macro lens for the Olympus EM-5 .
As with any new toy we want to play with it immediately but the wind and rain outside put paid to any thoughts of close up flower pictures.

The box and packing the lens had arrived in were close to hand near the window so why not place a Helleborus from the garden for a touch of colour in amongst the paper wrapping and snap that? Sorry but it's all I could think of in the short time I had available.

First impressions are that this is a small light super sharp lens and may even be on a par with the Nikon 105mm which is my all time favorite macro. I am looking forward to taking it out tomorrow for a proper test.
