2629. Sky on Fire

Caught this amazing sunset as we were landing at Edinburgh Airport last night (back blipping). You can just see the bridges caught in the glow of the sun as it finally sets.  It’s not my best photograph as I used my phone through the window but I loved the colours.

We are safely back in Scotland and amazingly despite coming into Heathrow about an hour late we caught our connection…and more importantly, so did our luggage!  It was the usual faff at border control with people not being able to use the automated system with their passports….we had no problem but people were so impatient and had difficulty following even the simplest of instructions!

No social distancing of course but most people were still wearing masks, albeit with the usual “under the nose” nonsense!

Now back at the hotel in Edinburgh and wide awake at 2am, waiting for the time to pass until breakfast then heading home for the final stretch!
