This is not the most flattering photo I have ever taken of Frank. His eyesight has been shocking from being a child. Today he had a cataract removed and a new lens. He'll be looking like the Phantom of the Opera for a few days but all went well and his vision is already much improved .

Lou called me at work and asked me to go over as she was in pain. That's the first time she's done that. After discussions with doctors they're hoping to readmit her to the hospice tomorrow to improve her pain relief regime.
