An uneventful day

The day brightened as it progressed and I attended to some household chores.  My sister had the operation to remove a cataract from her eye so I hope the procedure will be successful.  One of our curling friends, a young man with his own gardening business, came along in the afternoon to look at a boundary fence that needs replacing.  I have been trying to prune two very large Buddleia trees that are spreading too far and encroaching on our neighbour's garden.  He will probably finish the pruning job when he rebuilds the fence.  As I am not always imaginative with my blips, it had to be my favourite tree today rather than more birds.
