Stirling
An enjoyable day in Stirling with Glasgow Ramblers. I lost count of the number of bridges we crossed as the Forth twisted its way through the town. Highlight was Cambuskenneth, famous for its Abbey of which the Campanile is the only bit left, and the orchards long since departed since the days of the Glasgow Boys. I’m wondering if Arthur Melville’s A Cabbage Garden is linked to the village.
