While I had my book out for the blip yesterday couldn’t resist this photo of Tom Crean on the Shackleton expedition by Hurley !
Not chosen by Scott to reach the South Pole ….on his return he walked for 18 hours with a little choc and biscuits on his own to get help for Evans who was suffering from scurvy . With Shackleton he went all the way back to South Georgia …
