He’s here!

My sister gave birth last night at home after an epic labour that started on Monday at 3am, baby Percy and mum doing really well. I’m delighted to be an auntie and for S to meet her cousin later this month.

After drop off I par-baked the bread for the freezer and made dinner for the slow cooker whilst face timing mum and sister. I had a funding application to write for a local project I volunteer for. Somehow I had the motivation today to start the application from scratch and submit it whilst watching a film in the peace and quiet of the empty house. I watched ‘Spotlight’ on Netflix, highly recommended. I walked into the village with Jess to meet Cannon and pick up S, then went to the sports pitch for some football with the village kids. Home now and looking forward to bed. Blip is of Jasper, who escaped the house today and sat in the rain mesmerised by the birds. Extra is the pot storage Cannon built from old pallets yesterday.
