Äkäsmylly

The most northern point we have reached this week. A scenic location by an old water mill with a very little waterfall. Seems that the place has a new owner and in future will be used for ecological and sustainable tourism. Currently everything is closed. We had a short break for taking pictures, some hot tea from the thermos flask and then continuing on the skis.

Cloudy again during the day, but still allowing to enjoy the landscape. Some first rays of sunshine later in the afternoon, when we were already back ‚home‘. It‘s getting warmer. Today only -2 Celsius and unfortunately (for ski waxing) +4 Celsius expected for tomorrow.
