The First Daffodils

I wish I could say they were from my garden but they are from my local grocery store.  There is still 6+ inches to snow on the ground here and we got another dusting last night.  When I took them out of the wrapper, I was horrified to discover the tag which said, "Product of Great Britian"!  You mean to tell me there were no local US growers?  They had to be flown from the UK?  Good grief.  Well, they are very pretty on my breakfast table, a cheery spot of yellow, and I needed that.  BTW, Baby Ama is growing well and I will have another bloom in a couple of weeks!
