Drippy cherry blossoms

...the first to bloom. It was a chilly, rainy, gloomy day, but cozy indoors. I got a fair amount done, but it wasn't really what I'd planned. I heard myself asking things like "would you like some pancakes?" which then entailed whipping up a batch of fluffy buckwheat ones for I. with lots of maple syrup. 

After a meeting this evening, a couple of us stayed behind and talked about keeping bees (neighbor W.) and chickens (neighbor K.). These are both things I'm interested in, particularly the bees. Perhaps someday!
