An unexpected adventure

When I took the dogs across the fields this evening I noticed in the field opposite the footpath that a poor lamb had got stuck in the fencing. Obviously I couldn’t go in the field with two dogs. I tried to find out who owned the sheep and lambs but then decided I would take the dogs back to the car and try to rescue the lamb myself. So that is what I did. I climbed over the fence and luckily it was quite easy to release the lamb. It was happy to be free again and skipped off. Phew. Success.
This evening we are having a meal at the Why Not pub. Just about to have deserts. Yum.
