Soggy

We woke up to a fairly heavy downpour, that lasted pretty much all day in various degrees of heaviness.

Having told most folk to work from home because of connectivity issues, it was no surprise that everything seemed to work fine for the first three hours but back we went to ten minutes connected and a similar period down.

Load shedding, now at an elevated level, at the office and home were pretty much on the same timetable but although it went down at home, it stayed up in the office but with inconsistent wifi connection it might well have been off.

Picked up some stuff on the way home, outing with Shiv, and an early supper at Doppio, although indoors, helped put the world to rights, even if just for a wee while.

Two more sleeps and we head out of Joburg for a couple of nights at the Berg. Definitely looking forward to that!
