Blackpool

Went with Kate to Blackpool today. I bought tickets to the North West Film Archive showing of films about Blackpool at the Winter Gardens. Having grown up in Blackpool we both found them really interesting and a great afternoon. As we arrived the Wurlitzer organ was being played and of course he played 'oh I do like to be beside the seaside'. We went for tea at Harry Ramsdens' and got the over 60 meal. We were the only customers in a really big restaurant. 

On a sad note I'm still upset that Breeda had a stroke last night. It took 2 hours for the ambulance to get to her. She is in the hospital where she works as a fundraiser for the implant centre. The consultant a good friend has been to see her and told them she is one special lady!
