Cautious Hopper

We've been hearing them at night as they leap into the pond. This early in the season the BullFrogs are very shy. I guess it's not a bad idea to be timid with all the hawks, owls and serpents around, on the hunt to feed their mates and young. FrogLegs are a favorite on almost everyone's menu!
